Engineering-Led Industrial Procurement
A disciplined sourcing function built on manufacturer roots.

For more than two decades, the team behind Netral Industrial Group has sat on the manufacturer side of the table – designing, building and exporting equipment from Türkiye for industrial and energy projects worldwide.

Today, we use that manufacturer DNA to run an engineering-led procurement organisation in Türkiye for international buyers.

What we describe here is completely separate from our own switchgear production.
This function focuses on managing the surrounding ecosystem of industrial equipment and materials – everything around your switchgear and plant, not the panels we manufacture ourselves.

We do not operate as a classic trading agent that just forwards emails and pushes for discounts.
We act as an extension of your engineering and supply chain teams on the ground in Türkiye.

What “engineering-led” means in practice

We don’t start from catalogues and discounts; we start from your project data:

  • Single-line diagrams, BOQs and technical specifications

  • Site conditions, local grid and regulatory requirements

  • Brand preferences, standards and compliance obligations

Based on this, our engineers:

  • Validate the BOQ and specs – checking ratings, short-circuit levels, coordination and compatibility

  • Identify equivalent brands and configurations that stay within the same technical envelope

  • Flag over-specification, mismatches and missing items before they become issues on site

The result is a sourcing scope that is technically coherent and buildable, not just commercially attractive.

How we work on the ground in Türkiye

  1. Project analysis

    • We review drawings, BOQs and specifications in detail.

    • We map requirements to the Turkish supply ecosystem:
electrical & automation components, mechanical equipment, steel & sheet metal work, MEP and auxiliary systems, etc.

  2. Supplier orchestration

    • We build the package through a pre-qualified pool of manufacturers and integrators.

    • For each item, vendor selection is based on:
technical capability, certifications, lead time, capacity and export experience – not just price.

    • We deliberately avoid “one-off” or opportunistic suppliers.

  3. Quality & inspection
Depending on project criticality, we organise:

    • Document checks (test reports, certificates, declarations of conformity)

    • In-process inspections and pre-shipment inspections (PSI)

    • Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) aligned with your procedures

    • AQL-based sampling for standard goods

  4. Logistics & export file

    • Materials from multiple suppliers are consolidated into a single, coherent shipment.

    • We aim for one or a limited number of Bills of Lading (B/L).

    • Packing, palletisation and labelling are planned to support the installation flow on site.

    • Each shipment is accompanied by a complete technical dossier (test reports, datasheets, manuals).

Scope of supply

(Everything around your switchgear and plant – excluding the panels we manufacture)

Our engineering-led procurement approach typically covers, among others:

  • Electrical and automation components

    • Circuit breakers, protection and measuring relays

    • Contactors, drives, soft starters, PLCs and I/O modules

    • Sensors, field instrumentation, power supplies

  • Power and distribution equipment

    • Distribution transformers (LV/MV, oil-immersed or dry-type)

    • Cables, terminations and connection accessories

    • Busbar systems, cable management, terminals

  • Mechanical and steel structures

    • Enclosures, junction boxes, consoles and brackets

    • Steel structures, platforms, equipment skids and frames

  • MEP and auxiliary plant equipment

    • Pumps, fans, compressors and similar utility equipment

    • Basic HVAC/MEP auxiliaries and related infrastructure items

Whenever possible, we think in terms of packages rather than loose parts – so that what arrives on site is installable, traceable and technically consistent.

Value for your project

By combining engineering control with local sourcing capability, we help you:

  • Reduce the risk of technical non-compliance and rework on site

  • Avoid fragmented purchasing from unrelated vendors

  • Optimise total cost of ownership (TCO), not just unit prices

  • Have one accountable counterpart in Türkiye for both quality and logistics

If your project needs more than a price list from Türkiye – if it requires a structured, technically governed procurement process – our role is to operate as your engineering-led procurement office in Türkiye, aligned with the same standards you apply inside your own organisation.
